Caroline Strode Caroline was born in Alabama in November 1847. Caroline died. She appeared on the census of 1880 at Age 37, keeping house, 98 District, Smith County, Texas.4 She appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at Justice Precinct Number 4, Smith County, Texas.5

Dewberry obtained a marriage license on 27 August 1889 at Tyler, Smith County, Texas; .22 She married Clayborne B. Dewberry at Tyler, Smith County, Texas, on 28 August 1889.23 Mary died at Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma. She died before 18 April 1908.

She appeared on the census of 1880 at 98 District, Smith County, Texas.24,25 She appeared on the census of 29 June 1900 at Forney Town, Kaufman County, Texas.26

3. Joseph G.2 Clark (John1). Joseph was born in Texas in 1874.54,55 He married Julia Ann Hamlet at Tyler, Smith County, Texas, on 5 March 1904; .56

He appeared on the census of 1880 at 98 District, Smith County, Texas.57 A census listed Joseph as head of household at Age 45, farmer, Justice Precinct 4, Cherokee County, Texas, on 7 January 1920.58

4. Martha2 Clark (John1). Martha was born in Texas in February 1887.64 She married Finley Browning at Tyler, Smith County, Texas, on 31 December 1902.

She appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at Justice Precinct Number 4, Smith County, Texas.65
